Dr. Mythia Nemakal attended college in India, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Dentistry. Following her undergraduate studies, she moved to New York to attend New York University to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She continued her education through a Pediatric Dentistry Specialty Program to become trained in treating the unique needs of kids from birth to young adulthood.

Dr. Nemakal is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. She also volunteered much of her time over the years to community programs, such as Give Kids a Smile, annual oral cancer screenings at New York University College of Dentistry, Colgate’s Bright Smiles Bright Future, and dental screening and treatment camps in India.

When she’s not in the office, she enjoys traveling with her family and watching Marvel and DC movies with her sons, Arjun and Bhargav. Her favorite foods to eat are Indian food and Italian food. If she could have any superpower, it would be super speed! Dr. Nemakal loves training kids to have healthy habits, so they can grow up to have healthy smiles and happy lives.
